Tricks To Prioritize Your Work

All of us are surrounded by a lot of work and responsibilities. Most of the time we are not able to handle everything and that too in a proper manner. Sometimes we make a to-do list so that we can complete our work but even that doesn't work every time. Instead of making a "To Do List", how about making a "Priority List". Today lets talk about tricks to prioritize your work. I'll talk about four quadrants of Gordon Miller to prioritize and delegate the task. Initially let's understand the four quadrants.

Following are the explanation of the above four quadrants:

First Quadrant

First Quadrant shows, you have to do important work urgently. So, in this case, you have no option of delegating or doing your work later. You have to finish your work as soon as possible.

Second Quadrant

The second Quadrant out of the four quadrants is the one where you are supposed to do important work but it is not at all urgent. Here you can make a schedule and give a proper time to all work. You will be able to prioritise your work.

Third Quadrant

Third Quadrant shows, you have to do some work urgently but it is not really important. in such cases, you can delegate your work to the juniors in order to save your time.

Fourth Quadrant

In forth quadrant, you don't really have any important work and you don't have to do it urgently. So better to not do such type of work. Just delete such work from your schedule.

This is the brief of the four quadrants. After going through the brief, I hope you understood which quadrant is better and useful for you. Yet I will clear it for you; quadrant two is the one in which you are supposed to be. Its quadrant two that will help you make a proper schedule and implement it. This will give you a productive output.
