World's First Gay Prince Manvendra Singh Opened His Ancestral House For LGBT Community.

Where LGBT still considered as a Tabboo in India world's first gay Prince who openly admitted that he is a gay. The prince Manvendra Singh Gohil has opened his ancestral house for LGBT community. India is country where people are still fighting for religion, race, and cast but the prince of Rajpipla came in front of people and admitted that he is a gay. As well as he decides to live rest of his life as a gay.

Although Manvendra Singh the world's first gay prince said “It was the most challenging time of my life,” Opening about my sexual preference wasn't easy at all. It took 40 years to collect the courage to confront the society. Manvendra Singh knew that as a king it is against the culture of Indian society and he has to face a lot of criticism. The same thing happened or even worse than he thought.

His realm Burnt his effigies, the people who used to respect him now cursed him and were making fun of him. His parents the queen and the king of Rajpipla disowned him from the ancestral property and announced that they have no son. He even got married as he thought that everything will be alright when she will have a wife and have children. But it was my mistake. The marriage never got consummated,” Manvendra Singh said on The Oprah Winfrey Show.

Manvendra Singh said that as a king when my family disowned me as their son so I gave a thought about the people who are abandoned by their family. A lot of them have to marry without their consent and have to go through a lot in their life. The gay prince said, “I am not going to have children, so I thought, why not use this space for a good purpose?”

In India LGBT is still illegal due to section 377. Although Supreme Court has given its order to review the section. But no doubt it's a long way to go when India will be free from LGBT criticism.
